Member of the Ukraine feminist group Femen gets arrested for protesting topless in the Vatican. You, beautiful lady, are to be honored.

This is incredibly disrespectful and these women should be absolutely ashamed. You want to protest topless? Do it in a major city square, or in front of a capital building, not at a place of worship and seat of spiritual power. People go to the Vatican to pilgrimage, to pray, to connect with their faith or simply to experience the art and history, not to be bombarded with an inappropriate display of women who feel they need to cause a scene and get their 15 minutes.I’m not a Catholic, I’m not even a Christian or a sympathizer for Christian causes or their doctrine and no there isn’t a problem with boobs. The problem here is a lack of respect, not only for the Vatican and the site itself, but for the people around you. There is a time and a place for everything, but this is entirely the wrong context for a protest of this nature. unwindher:
