Here it is guys! The pilot episode of Mockingbird Lane! I just watched and loved it! I really hope it gets picked up for a season.

The spin on the original show is interesting and darkly humorous. If you’re expecting characters even remotely reminiscent of their black and white counterparts you’ll be very disappointed, and my advice is to not even look at it as a reboot. Grandpa is super snarky and wicked, and barely tolerates Marilyn, who is hilarious with her sunshine and rainbows attitude about everything. Herman is a regular sort of guy who loves his family, not the traditional dopey sitcom dad. Lily wasn’t developed much, but she’s very mysterious and magical. Eddie is smart and cheeky, and plagued with wanting to be normal like Marilyn.

This series could go a lot of places, and I have high hopes for it. It’s already 10 times better than that awful Addams Family reboot that was on ABC.
